New Domestic Gas Connections

Crown Utilities offer a range of gas connection services for domestic properties across the whole of the UK exceeding the needs of our customers day after day. Whether it is a one off gas connection or an alteration for flat conversion, our service is within and budget and can be completed to a tight deadline.

How long does it take to complete a new gas connection?

Before we can provide any timescales, there are a number of factors that have to be taken into consideration, including:

• How far away you are from the gas pipe point of connection
• If your connection pipe would run under public ground
• How far the pipe would run on public ground

Once we have collected all the necessary information, we can then provide you with an accurate date of completion.

Do I need to arrange a gas provider once the connection is set up?

As part of the work we undertake, we will source a temporary gas provider on your behalf. Once the work has been completed you will have 28 days (length of the contract) to source an alternative provider, you can, however, continue the contract but this is at your discretion.
